Salon à Trois interweaves sumptuous Romantic era music by Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Cécile Chaminade, Amy Beach and Rebecca Clarke with fresh new sounds from living American composers including a World Premiere by California-based composer Nancy Bachmann, the Broadway-infused melodies of New York's Ricky Ian Gordon, and captivating settings of poetry by Elizabeth Bishop and Emily Dickinson composed by Boston's own Vartan Aghababian.
